So I hopped over to the Tate Britain to see the Kurt Schwitters exhibit. Unfortunately it is over now, but yah it was a really good. Schwitters was a German artist known for his collage. He fled from Nazi Germany to settle in Britain, where he made his mark on the British art scene. Many credit him for his role in the origins of pop art. Yeah you go Kurt.
I particularly liked his later works, when his work was highly political and cultural. He often used 'found' objects and magazine and newspaper cuttings to create topical collages such as his mentions of Winston Churchill. I tried out new Barbour jumper mentioned here for the successful outing.
So here's what I wore:
vintage barbour jumper, asos jeans, urban outfitters hi tops and jacket.
